Enhancing grid resilience by smoothing demand peaks and reducing reliance on carbon-intensive peaker plants. This helps prevent blackouts and ensures a more robust and sustainable energy system in the face of rising electricity needs.
Solution
Our solution is an AI-powered revenue-sharing energy flexibility platform.
We assess the flexibility potential of your real estate portfolio, connect to and control your Building’s Management Systems (BMS) responding efficiently and automatically to grid needs and market price signals.
We are certified flexibility operators by RTE and we operate two types of flexibilities :
Peak load shaving - deactivating/reducing consumption loads in times of peak load according to grid signals, without comfort loss for the building user thanks to a pre-heating strategy. This solution is necessary to develop to improve grid’s performance and its ability to respond to increasingly important demand peaks.
Load shifting - shifts electricity demand according to market price signals to times when renewable energy is plentiful and prices are low.
Tilt Energy also provides market-leading energy demand forecasts which allow our clients to anticipate their energy needs and thus decrease total procurement costs.
